Are you thinking about elevated festival vibes for your wedding day?
Well here is a lesson in how to do it well!

Jen & Jamie chose the River House on the banks of the Tuki Tuki River, Hawkes Bay for their wedding day and want a relaxed, yet sophisticated vibe for their day ... and that is exactly what they got! From the Flagship marquee, relaxed seating from Flock and the simply perfect ceremony space in the middle of the vines, and the stunning views across the river to Te Mata Peak the party vibes were there as soon as you stepped foot at the River House.

Jamie stood out against his tuxedo-ed Groomsmen with his light coloured dinner jacket from Working Style, and Jen looked fabulous and summery in her Khya gown. Jen & Jamie decided on a first look and bridal party photos before the ceremony so that they could spend more time with family and friends post the 'I Do's', which happens more and more these days. A great idea to get the bridal party photos done so you can spend more time mingling, and then find pockets of lovely light for just the two of you a little later in the day.

Speeches were a casual affair, being held outside before dinner and right next to the cocktail bar. Absolutely no need to rush the timetable on a day like this! I mean, who wants to be sat inside while the sun is still shining anyway! It was a brilliant day that turned into a brilliant evening once the band kicked off - it was a rush to the d-floor when that first chord was hit!

I have to say - if you want the laid-back festival vibe on your day, this is most definitely the lesson in how to do it right!
