River House Wedding – Francesca & Samir

Stunning Hawkes Bay Winter Wedding

Francesca & Samir grew up down the road from each other in Brisbane, even attended the same school at one point … but it wasn’t until they were nearing the end of their schooling that they became a couple. A new coffee shop and a sweaty palmed boy thought that it would be a great opportunity to finally ask Francesca out. From there, there was no turning back.

Both now entrenched in their chosen careers – Francesca an Oncology Nurse, and Samir a Lawyer, and 10 years into a forever a relationship they decided they would get married on the banks of the Tuki Tuki River in Hawke’s Bay at The River House. Their Flagship marquee was decorated in a white-on-white theme – one of Francesca’s favourite colours, and set at the top of the vineyard looking back toward Te Mata Peak. An impressive view if ever their was one, and certainly one that would WOW their guests from Brisbane and India.

This wedding was a stylish affair but was, at it’s core, all about family and friends. Fancesca & Samir are two of the most genuine and loving people you will meet. You could feel just how much their family meant to them and the fact that some of their family had traveled so far to celebrate with them! Samir’s Grandfather at 93 had come all the way from Delhi, as well as Uncles and Aunts, and Francesca’s sister, all the way from Germany. A testament to the people that Francesca & Samir are!
