I’d say I’m a bit of an adventurer … so long as I’m not wearing white shoes or silly heels, but I’m game for most things. And I’m lucky enough to say that most of my couples are up for a bit of an adventure as well. So when it came to Kimberley & George’s Pre-Wedding shoot with the weather looking a little sketchty I kinda put it to them that the freezing cold wind and a little bit of icy rain would create a fun adventure and some awesome memories! The fact that they had also travelled from Auckland for this one specifc day also played a small part in my sales pitch of “how fun would it be to frolic in the storm!”. As it turned out it was an awesome day and I got to know two amazing people in the process. Yes, we got wet, a little bit dirty and a lot cold and maybe I almost got blown off a rock on top of a large peak but you do what you have to do to get the shot right! But we had an amazing time hanging out around some of Hawke’s Bay most scenic spots and had some great laughs on the way. Kimberley & George were true adventurers and what a lead up to their wedding in Malaysia!
