I’m going to start out by apologising, I want to be one of those efficient bloggers that knows how to add just 15-20 images to a post and have it tell the day, not someone who gets so emotionally attached to the images that cutting down is such a hard thing to do … But, unfortunately I am the later, so maybe I have to apologise for that too. The other apology is for the lengthy post! I had all good intentions of just adding a small handful of images to this post but once I got started there were so many I wanted to share!
This wedding of Ro & Eddie’s was a laid back affair held at their home, on the farm, at the back of Maraetotora. They had some close friends and family attend the lunch time ceremony at the top of the farm. Guests were taken up to the ceremony spot in a convoy of farm vehicles where, while they waited they could take in the amazing and expansive views of Hawke’s Bay! By the time the ceremony had finished, guests had dispersed and made their way back down to the homestead and awaiting garden party and Ro, Eddie & I had taken a helicopter to further parts of the farm for photos, another wave of party-goers had arrived. All planned for the start of speeches and to watch Ro & Eddie sign on the dotted line … I think this may have been the time the second band started!
This was such a fun and spectacular day! I really didn’t want to leave but I hear that the three bands were a big hit and the party was so good the first day, they had another, inpromtu one the following day! Now that is what I call a wedding!!!! Ro & Eddie, thank you so much for having me along for the ride – I loved every minute of it! xx
